Is it license or licence? Both are technically correct. "Licence" is always one of those words I can never seem to spell correctly the first time! I have a lot of respect for people that teach the English language. Imagine trying to explain to students that "go", "throw", and "although" all sound the same while at the same time acknowledging that the Bluenosers, Cape Bretoners and Newfies all speak the same language you are trying to teach them.
